Story:

Srinivasa kalyanam is a good movie about Telugu marriage cultures and its importance which reflects and compares modern marriage culture and traditional marriage cultures. I think it is a good experiment to expose the importance of Indian traditions and marriage culture.

Coming to the story of the movie Nithin (Vasu) younger generation man who belongs to a joint family and as he was grown up in a joint family he cares about the traditions and values. On the other side, Raashi Khanna (Sri) daughter of a billionaire (Prakash Raj) who gives importance to time and money and he completely ignores and neglects the traditions and its values.

Vasu and Sri fall in love and both their parents will accept their love and proceeds for the marriage. Prakash Raj emperor of an RK group of business thinks everything has a business and asks Vasu to sign a pre-marital agreement. In return to that agreement, Vasu puts a condition that Prakash Raj as to participate in every ritual and custom of his daughter’s marriage without any fail

Rest of the movie is about the marriage and how it changes opinions of Prakash Raj and rest.

Positive highlights:

Impressive production values

SPB wedding song is an attractive asset of the movie

Emotional scenes carried well

Drawbacks:

Predictability of story

Boring causal first half

No comedy as such

Verdict:

Srinivasa kalyanam is a good family entertainer in recent days. the movie can be dramatized better because of the movie as a good point of moral to the present and next generations. The film is clearly for the family audiences as there are many aspects of the movie which attracts the common family audience. Srinivasa kalyanam is a boring but watchable movie nothing for the sake of star cast few emotional scenes.
